Backup Suite
In developmentBackups for Linux servers that you configure once and can check at any time. Backup Suite copies your files to the storage you choose, keeps the files you deleted and makes database restore points.
$ sudo systemctl start file-backup.service $ journalctl -t backup-file -f
What it does
- One-way file backup. Your server is the source of truth. Files deleted on the server are moved to a
deleted_filesarchive in the backup, not lost. - Any storage. Uses rclone, so it works with Google Drive, S3-compatible storage, SFTP and many other backends.
- Database restore points. Dumps selected MySQL or MariaDB databases on a schedule.
- Size monitoring. Warns you when a database grows faster than expected.
- Fits your server. Works on its own, and also understands ISPConfig servers when they are present.
- Runs as system services. Scheduled with systemd timers, with logs in the system journal.
Who it is for
- Small hosting providers and agencies running Linux servers.
- Developers who look after their own VPS.
